Editing Experiments

Well I’ve had a busy couple of weeks with lots of progress happening with the Earthcore videoart project. There’s only about 4 or so days till I have to have the DVD mastered and I will then head up to Earthcore on Friday 25th. I’ve been experimenting with some interesting editing techniques to give the piece a varied dynamic feel. There’s lots of quiet ambient sections, but I want to speed up the flow of the piece in certain sections. In this example it shows some extremely quick cutting between different frames. This really plays with the way the eyes and the brain perceive motion and sequential varied frames.
